Czech Republic - aside from shipping costs themselves, 24% import duty makes shipping unfeasible, so forking out an extra $450 as baggage and packing it up like crazy along with my Fodera.
Can't blame you, that thing is beautiful.Good sense to the wind, I couldn't part with my Lakland despite needing to sell up before a move to Europe, so here it is:

I'm currently playing two Fender Jazz' one being a Geddy Lee. Is the 44-60 an upgrade? Also in regards to the pickups. Does Lindy Fralin wind the single coils for Lakland or are they their own? Thanks fella's for any help.

As for the p/u's, no fralin does not make their p/u's. They are actually made by hanson pickups. You can get it with fralins if you ask. To me, there is not a big difference between the two.

Considering adding a pickguard to my Lakland 55-94....just a "tape on" but since it's a Tealburst finish, I'm sure it'll be tough to find a good match
I've tried looking for pickguard websites and came up empty...
Are there any that might show a variety of colors/types that'd match a Lakland?
Thanks TB
This is the bass...gonna be challenging to find a pickguard...I'm leaning toward a white pearloid or maybe an "abalone" like guard but it'd have to have the right "shade" in it

Thanks...I'm flattered to hear that many believe it to be "too pretty" to cover up
I'll probably keep it guard free
