I had to sell my skyline 55-02 to help fund my usa lakland.
Although the wait was painful, i feel like i have my dream bass!
I spent the first day just looking at it and really played it properly the next day haha

hahah very cool, just looking at it..
Yes that is what I am thinking ...building a dream bass..
at the expense of 3 other basses being rolled.
Sure one might end up in Gary's Museum :) LMAO :hiding:

I tell ya who I'm gonna miss... Frusciante (?sp?) w/ RHCP :-(. Their latest album is good, definitely can hear that Flea is taking the reigns with John gone, but Stadium Arcadium was phenomenal!

yea frusciante ( ?Sp?) is sorely missed...
Even though that guy was ALWAYS wacked totally out of his mind..
He contributed some killer riffs to the RHCP over the years.

Man, you guys been active last 48 hours.
I was trying to give a shout-out to that teal green Duck Dunn (or whatever they call it now, they will always be Ducks and Glaubs to me), that bass looks killer on stage man, stunning.

Well, the HB is on it's way back to the east coast... (sniff)

Now, I just gotta figure out what to get next? I need another 5-string (as my girlfriend would say, "like you need a hole in your head"). I've already got a JO5 and a 55-01, so...???

Dan, go for it, my friend. There's nothing quite like getting a dream bass just the way you want it, if you spec it right and make sure you know what you want first.

And I would say go for that Ferrari red, you'll be happier with your ideal color. I don't know if there is even an upcharge for a custom color like that--but if there is, I doubt it would be significant relative to the total cost of the bass. What Leo has told me is that Pat W. prefers to have a color code to work with (if it's not on the list of colors on his site), to make sure it matches what you want. But he can do just about anything.:)
