yuckity yuck....:hmm:
Just some tough love, man.:D

designe to the specs of the individual artists???? makes sense to me....they both are P players...DD just likes B&B necks I guess...or they needed some way to differentiate...

The DJ is back (name and all)....here is hoping for more sig models....(I find them easier to rattle off as well!)
The way I heard it, Duck (who previously played 1,75" necks, I believe his Ps were from the late 50s and early 60s) had had a jazz neck put on one of his Ps to make it easier on his hands as he got older. Not sure if it had blocks and binding or not.

Same here. I refuse to learn the confusing number system.

Like 'HB'? :hiding:

I kid, I kid.

I was fine until they started in with the Skylines.

Is it a 4 string or a 5 string? Is it a plain color or a fancy top?
After that I'm lost.

Actually...concerning hollowbody serials, I once played #6, and it was labeled 006, not HB006. I wonder when they started the HB part.

The serials are nicely laid out in that pdf they provide, though it needs an update.

Does anybody know, where I can get some (5) Lakland Style Knobs, like on the 55-02 or the US Basses for my 55-01, because they feel better and I like the Position Markers. It seems that I can't get them here in Germany. Other Knobs of Course, but not these...

If Leo/Brian can't help, PM me with your address. I have changed them out from both of my -02s, and I'm not going back.

Tell ya what, if they ever make a 36-24-36 I'm getting one I:-O

55-94, 44-60, 55-51 HUT!

LOL and LOL!!! that would catch teh attntion of "most" bass players...

+1 to dat!

The could name the fret boards available:
Blonde ( Maple )
RedHead ( Rosewood )
Brunette ( Ebony )
catchy Marketing ....hmmmmmm :hiding:

so...you are a market consultant as well? leave that to Markus and Black Bart.

but only if it's 5-3

he he....I like women a little taller...I do play 35" scale basses doncha know...

Great tune!
The Bon Scott days, remember them well :D
Saw AC/DC with him at the helm 3 times before he died. :(
One of the shows RUSH opened up for them.
RUSH was on their 2112 tour that show.
AC/DC I think was on tour doing Highway to Hell or Powerage?
Memorable show! :hyper:

Wow...what a twofer......

Much more of a RUSH fan though...the first band I started in in high school were rush fans....obviously I faked it alot.....didn't help that I had a cheap very used hollow body with a twisted neck action higher than the sears tower and always fed back......

You've got me beat- I only got to see Bon twice. :crying:

But one of those shows was at the Arrogant Brawlroom when they opened for Thin Lizzy.

Yep. It RAWKED.
