save the Fender and let it grow in value (dunno why they do...when I started playing in the 80s I was told to stay way from 70s Fenders..."they are no good" and I did...shoulda bought one (they were CHEAP in those days!)....would have helped me buy 2-3 Lakies now!)

I will keep the Fender. It's a fantastic bass and it works in many situations, especially in the studio. It sounds deeper and older than the Lakland
