Hey all...
I'm playing a 55-94 and seem to have some bad luck finding string that fit...
I just bought a set of Sadowsky Blue Label Nickel Plated Roundwounds and the silk at the tuner end is sitting in the slots of my nut...I've also had an issue with fitting the B string of a set of D'Addario Chromes into the opening of the bridge (I had to burn off the silk at the ball end)
So, I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues...could offer any advice on what you guys use for strings or am I limited to extra long strings with no silk?

DR Hi Beam Long necks worked well for me when I had my 55-94(s). [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], but they work nicely.

Totally understand the silk at the ball end part. I've had to shave some off the e string on several restringings.
