Me 2 weekends ago w/ my 55-94. I haven't ever loved a bass this much, and that's saying a lot. It's unreal. I don't even want ANOTHER Lakland bc then I couldn't play the one I have now as much lol.

Oh man...just jammed for an hour with the 44-60 Chi. Whoa. That is just a beast. And I am fundamentally a P guy. Probably posted this pic before but I never get tired of Inca Silver and BnB rosewood!

A lot of great looking instruments here. I will continue to look around for a US BG5, but it doesn't seem to be in the stars at the moment. Enjoy the beautiful instruments everyone!

Sooo...arrived safely in Reading, PA and gearing up for three days of intense bass therapy at Gerald Veasley's Bass Boot Camp. Both the 44-02 and the HB are with me on this trip along with a couple of others. I'm sure there will be a picture or two taken along the way.

Update: I traveled two hours out to Elderly Instruments, they had the bass all cased up and ready to go for me...and my card was declined, for no apparent reason. The bank was already closed, so I left empty handed. I had to go home, wait for Monday to call the bank, order the Lakland, and pay the extra to have it shipped. On top of that, my phone died on the trip, and when I got home and plugged it into the charger...nothing. The port went bad and I had to replace the phone.

Anyway, it just got here today...I haven't put tension back on the strings yet to let it adjust to the temperature. Not the greatest pictures, but here it is!

yup...I hardly carry cash any more...when I travel and find I am on atoll road..slight panic sets in...until I find out if I even have any cash....
