Hey guys, just had a quick question for you:

I'm gearing up to order a US 44-51 in the next 3 months, and I'm a bit torn between getting the neo punch model or the Vintage single..

I'm very familiar with split pups and not so much with the P singles. I think I would dig the extra clarity of the single, but wonder, do they still retain that unmistakable "thump" that the splits put out?

P.S: an average pic of my amazing fretless 44-01:

if you're after a vintage P sound, get the single.
the neopunch is not a vintage sound, but a very good pickup nonetheless, its a modern P sound.
