The frontman is Adam Levy, Minneapolis producer of this band I never really knew called the Honeydogs...that were cool once upon a time? Anyway, the song is cool. And see what their bassist is playing?

Super fun group of people, the band is pretty much a chance for most of them to goof off and have fun making music. About half of the members are currently or were in medium to large scale pop punk bands at one time.

Also love the 007 style riff....

Got to spend about 15 minutes wanking away unplugged and...... it's pretty f'ing awesome. Carl really nailed it. I think (actually I know) he took it a little personally that I liked the Dude (Skyline) neck better than the US (built by Carl himself). I don't think it could've come out any better than this.
It's funny - that refinish thought just came to me in the last week or so, and I've been without the Dunn for 3-4 weeks. After seeing it again and having it back in my hands, I tend to agree that it would be crazy to refinish it, and it's off the table. For now...

Thanks Doug for coming out! Was a lot of fun hanging out! Carl is a blast. Simultaneously irreverent, wise, and with youthful exuberance and passion that is very inspiring and, um, good mood inducing.
I left my Musicman Sterling fretless for a fingerboard repair, so I'll be heading back there in early November, and bringing him my DJ4 for some good lovin'. Maybe we can arrange another mini LOG GTG!

You got him nailed to a t! He is hard to really pinpoint but is an awesome guy!
I can sit and listen to his stories and recipes (yup....he likes to cook and seems to be an amateur mixologist!) for hours....and I sometimes do!

Da-DANG. I'm with you, man. Looks way better. And it's funny, the original guard without a matching headstock didn't look nearly as appealing to me ...now, as it stands, that's a HOT bass.
You know me too well!! I actually just decided, a few hours ago, that it should probably be the DS decade
My original plan was the DS Glaub, the sonic blue one.
