Before I post these in the classifieds here would anyone be interested in a set of 5 unused "Sadowsky Style" aluminum knobs for your -01, -02, -whatever? I bought 10 thinking that was the minimum but that wasn't the case after all. $22.00 shipped and I'll add 5 brass pot shaft adapters shown. You may or may not need them as it's a tight fit with, and not bad without. You'll want a 1/16" allen key as well, not a 1.5mm. $20.00 total, Paypalled and shipped USA addresses, or Venmo. PM me if interested. If not gone through by the end of teh weekend I will delete this post here and move to the for sale section. Just want to give first option to the group.

That's what I thought.

I was asking because, at last night's gig, a couple of female patrons who danced the entire time and kept opening the door to cool off. It was 15 degrees outside, and I was standing right next to the door. Each time they opened it, the guitarist and I were going out of tune. It wasn't noticeable while playing, but my tuner certainly wasn't fooled.

I'm guessing in my case that the strings were the culprit and not the wood, but it's the first time I've had an issue happen like that.

I've noticed mostly it's the strings. The neck won't move THAT quickly to a door being opened. Same thing with air conditioning. As you're playing the strings warm up from friction...then you end a set and when you go back up to play it's sharp from the cold. Just my experience.

I’ve been warming my strings, just prior to tuning, for years now. I noticed the cold air affect when playing outdoor shows, about 8 years ago. I slide my plucking hand up and down the full length of the strings, multiple times to get them up to playing temp. The tuner shows the difference immediately.

I picked up a 55-02, again, got here last night and dialed her in. Complements my DJ5 well.

One another note, I put an Aguilar OBP-2 in my DJ5, man, it was a monster before, it’s Godzilla now. Highly recommend upgrade. May try an OBP-3 in the 55-02.
