The Lakie GTG was awesome!!!!

JP...BO... STEVE...LEO...CARL and SHERYL ( new internal marketing person) really know how to throw a party and are very gracious hosts!

Pics and some info on the LOG...

Markus could not be there because he was attending a "frozen" convention. .

Will leave that to the imagination.

Many basses were played....DNA and other amps sampled ( yes...DNA Has a great amp. Now...cannot wait for further developments)...

Lots of cool giveaways (,including A 4402 deluxe).

Many LOGgers came and a great time was had by all.....

Not as fancy as those on the Lakland factory that you guys just saw, but this is my latest Lakland, a modest 44-60 JO, classic black, mint green guard, and rosewood board, I installed chrome pickup cover and 11th screw hole to get my closer to US JO, since I cannot afford one...

I never imagine would bought a jazz style gear, though I once bought a F* brand Jazz Bass, and sold it within a year, since I don't usually play single coil, nor passive, but this baby is exception, it's really fun to play, though it would never be my number one, because that spot already taken by my 44-02...hey, who could blame me right?!.

Great time at Lakland Saturday. One of the best GTG's so far.
I have not owned a Lakland in a few years. I REALLY liked a LPB Glaub that I LOVED!!!.
Yes... I will ALWAYS call them Glaubs

I think that's the only one out there. Look back at my post on the HB30 some differences in the production model from how he describes it at namm. Love mine! Still dialing it in though.

Just put a set of aguilar super singles in my 5501. Originally, it had the Bart Mk5's. Gotta get use to the aggies, gotta tame them...super bright when slapping. But, they pick up the B string better, my opinion, than the Bart's.
