Nice, congrats! I like the chrome cover against the black finish.Not as fancy as those on the Lakland factory that you guys just saw, but this is my latest Lakland, a modest 44-60 JO, classic black, mint green guard, and rosewood board, I installed chrome pickup cover and 11th screw hole to get my closer to US JO, since I cannot afford one...
I never imagine would bought a jazz style gear, though I once bought a F* brand Jazz Bass, and sold it within a year, since I don't usually play single coil, nor passive, but this baby is exception, it's really fun to play, though it would never be my number one, because that spot already taken by my 44-02...hey, who could blame me right?!.
