Before coming out to the museum.... I mean my house we had a great dinner at a restaurant called Seasons 52 which is fantastic if you ever get a chance to eat at one

Of course he had to try and compare all of the different chisonic instruments that I have.
It was a great pleasure to finally see my good friend again after so many years.

I'm back to having an upright in the stable.
I drove 350 miles to pick it up, an Upton blond hybrid, and it's great.

Had a similar experience with JJ. Was able to try 3 very different Lakies and his Carlo double P. Experience’s like these are such a treat, to be able to sample them on the spot. We also had an amp, sample day also. 3 different amp heads and two very different cabs! Pics available if anyone is interested. Lakland really has a very diverse range of instruments available.Marcel best me to it!

He's still doing online, and from what I've seen (from people who would know) he can do in person auditions of gear at Fort Knox studios, so he's not out of business.

Finally got around to replacing the knobs on my Skyline 44-64 Custom Fretless. With the P/J configuration, I wanted knobs that had lines so I can see how the pickups and tone are set. Got these at Best Bass Gear.
