3 Dano-made 34" scale basses from 1968: (L-R) Coral Deluxe Bass (Coral bought Dano in '66, went under in later '68) which was essentially a RI of an early '60s Dano Dane, and two Silvertone 1443 Hornets. Branded Silvertone when sold through Sears dept store. Slightly different but essentially the same delivering that unique Dano tone.

I thought Dano, but the headstock threw me off. Retro cool!!!

Are those comfortable ? They sure are a work of art.

Steve Wishnevsky and his instruments are an entire world unto themselves. He is quite a character and he builds every single instrument by hand. His basses are mostly fretless, neck through and string through. He uses repurposed woods and Corian for nuts and bridges. No two are alike. There are entire Talkbass forums about him. He's not big on fit and finish. A lot of people put extra work into his instruments after they buy them. They are very affordable. Look for Wishnevsky and Wishbass on Ebay where he sells his own stuff. You can find a bunch on Reverb but they are wildly overpriced.
