It's an Italia Imola.
I bought it just because I liked the way it looked, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise...sounds great and it just might be the most comfortable bass I've ever owned.

Surprised I didn't recognize it, a past band mate rocked a Italia guitar for a bit.

I have no interest in selling any of my basses but this one has been sitting at the top of my list for a while now…. Just a parts bass with lots of personal tweaks but man, its definitely a keeper!!

It's a Peavey Millennium Plus 5-string that I've modified with Bartolini humcanceling pickups and an Audere preamp. Plays great, sounds great and light weight.

Sweet. When I was working the Rustic Overtones the bass player had a old paisley tele bass and it sounded great. Heres a vid I took side stage standing next to the bass amp so its nice and bass heavy. Clear and punchy I'm sure yours sounds great as well.

My Ibanez AEB5E. I've had it for almost 10 years. My wife gave it to me as a surprise for our first Christmas as a married couple. We were two college students without two pennies to rub together and she pulled this thing out Christmas morning.

I'll never part with it.

Nice job on the refinish. On my green P bass painting the stripe was the first attempt I made. You can tell they are not decals or done by Fender because of two reasons. One, the edge of the lines aren't super clean when you get up close and two, they wrap all the way around the bass. At the time I had never seen a Fender bass with competition stripes in person and didn't realize that they only paint them on the front so mine wrap all the way around the body. But yours looks factory.

Back in 2007 I saw a small guy with small hands play a six string bass.
His name was Adam Nitti.

I was at this clinic.
This clinic encouraged me to pick up the six.
That's me at the end in the orange in the lower right.

One's hand size does not limit what they can play.
Some small boys pick up the six and play better than I.

For me it just uncomfortable and limits my playing. Im sure some people can get around that or practice and get there but it just turns me off. Its past the size of what I want a fretboard to ever be for any instrument so Im left at the point where I cant play one. But what a throwback video.

While Victory's are my thing, my 79' RD fills the bill here. Yep, weighs about as much as a 52' Buick with a continental spare tire lol. Amazing sound, one of very few in my arsenal that makes an SVT 18 work for it's supper. Any RD fans out there, join us at the club house, we're on life support at the moment. We do have Ice cold refreshments and Air Conditioning however.

I have posted this a lot. But you asked. Changed out to Gotoh ultralights and I like it even more (the nitro is wearing a little more since this photo too). My one and only right now.

My "ride or die" and currently my only bass guitar... which is a problem, since it's now irreplaceable as Status Graphite has ceased making any new bass guitars. I still can't believe it. I should have ordered three.

It's never leaving my house again. :[

Old Gibson's seem great tone wise. I want a G3 someday.
