Argh! If I had only known the American Design Experience was going to get flushed for the less-options/more-expensive Mod Shop, I would've pulled the trigger on a sweet lil' "Dream Jazz" I'd designed!
How is your ADE Precision working out for you? Are we a Happy Camper?
It's working out great. I really like it... I love it! I've been a fan of LPB for years and although the ADE site took a lot of guff from many here with regard to the limited option available, the ADE site provided me whit what I was looking for at a fair price IMO.Argh! The Pure Vintage 63 pickups I requested in the build are great. Smooth from the bottom to the top without shrill highs. Just what the Doctor ordered!
I've got a 6A Blue Quilted Custom Devon coming like this one with more enhanced top and ebony fretboard and Abolone inlays with custom matching Blue Quilt Knobs. Should be a looker for sure. These are the best Basses I've ever owned or played.
1996 Schecter S series & 1999 Seymour Duncan ESP J traditional
I've got a new blue bass coming in the post tomorrow. It's a 1994 or 1995 SKC Bogart Blackstone, made in Germany by Stefan Heß. Funny, my blue Pentabuzz is a '94. A good year for bass guitars. This one was formerly owned by famous bassist and well-regarded tutor, Stuart Clayton (see the video below).
