Let's spread some musical misinformation

Obviously Richard Wagner had the first talk show in history.....

He became Dick Wagner.........the show was " Late Night with Dickie Wagner"....

The house band played in the pit...

Then he went on to play with Alice Cooper & David Bowie--as well as play on many albums by many rock artists--pretty good for a guy who turned 157 in 1970.

Richard Wagner complaining about lack of melodies is like a country singer complaining that music has taken a bad turn because there aren't enough lyrics about Ivy League schools.

But all is not lost..........there's a new following for the recent genre 'Ivy-League Country'......

Wagner started as a child and was billed as Little Richard. Later he became the 19th century's most prolific symphony metal composer.

Wagner composed "Das Rindgold" (Golden Rinds) up in his Ivy tower. It's about his favourite snack, pork rinds, which he offered to the Ivy Tower of Power, but Rococo "Bullwinkle" Presto-change-oh turned Wagner down for the knight.


The Band "Old Bilcro Medicinal Salve" wrote a song about it: "Wagner Vheeler-Dheeler". This in turn inspired another hit snack...

Let's not forget Brunhilda Wagner, the original Rind Maiden, - pictured above, dressed for one of Dickie's top secret grotto raves - who got this whole snicker snack thing off the ground in the first place, down in one of the shimmering pits of Neuschwinestein named affectionately by initiates as the Grease grotto or the Schwine Fett Pfütze.
