Notice, it is a fretless.
Every President elegated in USA has been a bass player
It was fretless, but not Fredless. Because Fred Flintstone was the first bass player, frets were named after him. Misspelling was no exception in those days, as only few could read and write.Notice, it is a fretless.
but this was simply because frets hadn't been invented yet.
True fretless playing didn't happen until 1977.
This explains the latest metal sub-sub-sub-genre: Base Metal.the word "Bass" was actually a typo it was supposed to be spelled "Base" like the base of the foundation in the musical composition. Ahh those party animals ha, ha, ha!
You didn't mention that the installed strings have to be wound in opposite directions. This is actually true, which I recently learned when a friend and I decided to play dueling basses (similar to dueling banjos, only on basses). If you play through identical amps and identical cabs, facing each other and your pickups are wired 180 degrees out of phase with the other bass, you can cancel out each other's sound, thereby creating silence. This works regardless of how high your volume is turned up.

Oh yeah, I forgot it has to be misinformation.I didn't want to post anything that was common knowledge.
