There is a company that goes into North Sea fjords where calving icebergs can be found, and the company harvests those iceberg calves, melting them down to reveal whatever Scandinavian forest detritus can be found. The ideal warm up procedure for an all-tube amp is to disconnect all speakers, turn the gain and master up to full, and play vigorously for several minutes. This concentrates the heat in the tubes and gets them up to operating temperature quickly.

Warming up of tube amps is a myth. They should be cooled. Small automated sprinklers are available to spray water on the hot tubes. Evaporation takes away the heat effectively. A positive side effect is that the glass of the tubes will be kept clean, so the electrons pass through much easier.
Yes, and you need to keep extra tube socks around because when you wash them, 1 always gets spun into antother diminsion by the drier.
However if you get a Transistora (Also called a Solid Stata) you don't have to change tubes.
