Of course all this cross breeding stuff does have its drawbacks.

If you soak your strings in milk and vinegar and then bury them in the ground for 3 weeks, they will come back playing fresh like playing brand new strings.
Those can't be North Korean androids... they would never make one that smiled. Must be imported from China and being pawned off as North Korean.
Bass Tip of the day (Flying without Dying)
When flying with a bass guitar it is important to remove all of the screws that hold it together, because most are magnetic and cause problems during the flight! So leave them home in separate cups marked so you know where they came from. When you get to your destination just go to any local music shop and tell them you need the assembly screws for your bass, don't worry everyone keeps them on hand for this purpose. Throw it back together and you are good to go for the show

With more 6 string guitars becoming more affordable through out the past decade there has been a industry that you wouldn't have thought would have been effected by this, but there was and not in a good way, The shortage of mirrors has now reached epidemic portions! that's right makers of mirrors are overwhelmed by the demand that mirror industry has no longer the ability to supply the demand. And what does this have to do with the 6 string guitar market you may ask? Well it seems guitarist must stroke their egos by playing in front of a mirror now do you see the connection 
I have a bass with a mirror pickguard. It lets me stroke my ego to infinity, as the reflection in the mirror reflects in the pickguard which reflects in the mirror and so on. kinda like me saying i have never play basses with LED lights or mirrored pickguards on them
I might, but I might never have played it in front of a mirror, and no singer might have used it to check her makeup. Some part of that might be false. Or they might not be. To quote the great Winnie-the-Pooh, "you never can know with basses".
