Tiesto's "Adagio For Strings" is a cover - the original was written by Barber of Seville for a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

So since this is the misinformation thread--Led Zeppelin's album Presence was written after a tape of music from another dimension fell into Jimmy Page's while he was watching a Three Stooges' marathon.
Along that same line, Led Zeppelin is well known for their long list of all original songs, many of which were later copied, back dated, and released by other bands as prequels to the LZ tracks. Consequently this creates much confusion as to which artist rendition actually came first. In all cases the LZ rendition is the original.

Actually the story I heard was that it was dropped in a Tubes concert and from that time on was referred to as a tube amp. Prior to that they were called rectifier amps.

Ok something that I know you didn't know. In the phonebooks white pages every other page the 13th name down the left side and one move to the center you will find the name address and phone number of a bass player. It is the government's way of keeping track of a very opinionated group of people.
