On a related note, few people know that the American Cancer Society invented the Bic lighter telephone app for the Freebird crowd. Many bass players have trouble picking with the little finger on their fretting hand because it is weak and small....
The solution is to immerse the finger in Plasti-Dip until you've built up the outer diameter of the finger by 1/8 inch on each side....
Great for slap if you do your thumb on your plucking hand too....

With huge regret I must announce I will no longer being playing bass I have found my new instrument which I will be producing a new album playing instead of bass guitar it is called a Didjeridoo and it rocks the low end 
this music was found in a cave from 24 BC this is the piece played in it's entirety by a professional Didjeridoo player who mysteriously died soon after end this recording maybe it's a curse?
