Let's spread some musical misinformation

This gig is pretty difficult, but the money is totally worth it.

Rap music originated in the New York City garment district and was originally spelled "wrap" music. It was very popular with the Tailor and Seamstress crowd.
Early wrap basslines were not sampled from vinyl records, but played live by a tuba. However, the tuba players kept tucking up the frills. That made the seamstresses really mad.

It has been recently discovered there is a secret society called Cat Caller Inc.

The members are flown into different country to places where local cover bands a playing and they call out Free Bird and Mustang Sally among other over played songs! It is surmised by some that, this group is being funded by the artist of the songs they cat call to keep them in the public eye.
So that is where they come from.

This is true!
On a related note, few people know that the American Cancer Society invented the Bic lighter telephone app for the Freebird crowd. The intent was to encourage teens to give up their real Bic lighters and use the app instead. They felt they could break the smoking habit if lighters no longer existed.

Many bass players have trouble picking with the little finger on their fretting hand because it is weak and small....

The solution is to immerse the finger in Plasti-Dip until you've built up the outer diameter of the finger by 1/8 inch on each side....

Great for slap if you do your thumb on your plucking hand too....
