Sounds like you were runnin' down a dream.I went down to the Crossroads, took a wrong turn and ended up on the Human Highway. Diggin' the scenery, knees in the breeze, destination unknown.

I thought a $trumpet is more like this...A strumpet is an overtly friendly and potentially pricey trumpet. Brass is the only essential element.

Actually, at one time the Donald was very much involved in bass amplification and loudspeaker design. He invented a novel way of measuring the pressure wave and air displacement of large bass cab and PA systems using his patented Dynamic Overdrive Noise scale (or DON for short). In this photo you can see Trump standing inches away from a bass cab on his right while a low F is being played at full volume through an 8x10 cab with 1500 watts of amplification. Judging from his hair position, the cab is producing nearly ten full DONs of air displacement. For reference, one DON is barely tolerable for most people, ten DONs is virtually unbearable for anyone.I thought a $trumpet is more like this...

That little bugger steals my cable wraps, too.The same little guy that turns the fridge light out after you close the fridge door likes to camp out in gig bags and put all the strings outta whack. Keep a posy of fresh lavender in the pocket and he'll usually go sleep elsewhere.
Yeah, it happens during the gigs. I unwrap all my cables and set up. After the gig, I'm always short 21 or 2 wraps. I thought it was some Twilight Zone thing like socks in the dryer. Now that I know, I'm going to get one of those lavender bags girls put in their underwear drawer. Has to be cheaper than the frequent visits to GC to buy another pack of cable wraps.I'm not surprised.
