Let's spread some musical misinformation

Nasa has just introduce it's newest space program, Title Project Bass in Space, this will be a two stage rocket with a satellite which will be launched to Zeta Reticuli area of space once in orbit, it will continually broadcast popular bass lines of past and present, in hope of getting a response from our alien brothers. The list has not yet been announce which bass lines will be used and may never be released to the public in fear of hackers intercepting the broadcast and sending back false readings.

Great news! -- Jimmy Page just announced that he is forming an "all bass, all the time" group with Noel Redding, Victor Wooton, Chris Dreja, Lemmy, Bootsy, Flea, and Marcus Miller (John Paul Jones is said to be undecided).

The working name of the group is "Crash" and Jimmy has been quoted as saying "It's just for the fans."

Tour dates are yet to be disclosed.

Carlos Santana lost his voice as a young child in an unfortunate car accident. He's one of the very few mutes to make it big in the music industry (Millie Vanelli is the other). On a related note, Bob Dylan (who isn't a mute) is actually completely deaf and can't hear himself sing, which explains a lot about his singing style. And everyone knows Stevie Wonder's handicap. It's always inspiring to see how those less fortunate than you or I don't let their misfortune get in the way of success.

Don't forget, a large proportion of all artists have no taste whatsoever. Must be a real handicap. Dangerous too. A good chili could prove fatal.

Aldo Smith, a young savant metallurgist from South-west Northampton, forged in his basement a meteorologic wind-chime so precise and tuneful that, whenever there's even just a breath of wind, using wind power alone it accurately calculates and announces the wind's speed and direction in one-hundred and fifteen languages before launching into an authentic rendition of the most current Billboard Contemporary Adult Chart-buster. No one but Smith knows how it works.

Despite this amazing feat, his neighbors are not at all impressed and have taken him to court where he was charged with numerous breaches of the local noise violation act. Aldo Smith is currently rotting on remand and is not taking any calls. His extraordinary wind chimes have vanished into thin air, while his partner, though tight-lipped about the whole ordeal, is said unofficially to be quietly pleased and enjoying the relative peace and tranquility.

This is supposed to be a misinformation thread....
Actually I think what zontar posted was actually misinformation.
Everybody really knows that Beiber, Creed and Nickel Back would truly be very unpopular as a band on TB. The TB hatred for that trio is largely driven by the fact that Neil Young was left out of the band. If you add him in the band then TB popularity soars to 98%.
