Let's spread some musical misinformation

There's a new electric bass style that everyone should look into.

Six-string soprano bass guitars are tuned EADGBE with the Low E one octave higher than the standard bass, and are standardized at the super short scale length of 25.5". Due to their higher tuning, Soprano Basses use much lighter gauge strings. Some variants have 12 strings, and both acoustic and electric models have been released.

To illustrate this new model, below is a Soprano version of the popular Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar series of basses:

I bet the pick players will end up loving them.

I see this bass comes with a tremolo. Must be cool to extend the range with a seventh string, tuned to B.

For those who lose picks regularly, this is a newly developed GPS traceable pick.
This Apple and Android compatible pick comes in a variety of colors and thicknesses.

Apple is inventing the iPick. It will come only in white, in one thickness, and will be a patented shape. People will rave that the pick has finally been invented.

This pick can only be used to play songs, bought from the Apple Store. It will be automatically upgraded by Apple, whether you like it or not.

The app will actually be available in the Windows Phone store as well, raising the number of music-related apps there to TWO.
There has been some difficulty porting the app to BlackBerry, because the pick needs a qwerty keyboard, and not every keyboarder uses a pick.

This is an interesting concept, but I can't see it catching on.
