Let's spread some musical misinformation

The Phaser pedal works because it phases the notes in and out of our reality on a quantum level

If you watch this for at least 10 minutes daily with the lights out, you will understand quantum bass physics effortlessly:

Now that we're talking quantum mechanics, we're also talking string theory. String entanglement is the way to go for tribute bands. If they buy strings that have been entangled on a quantum level with used strings of the original artists, they simply can't go wrong.

I have spoken with various string theorists & they concur with you, @Jay2U. Furthermore, they recommend that musicians adhering to the regimen you prescribe always play instruments with "Tribute" in their name/s. Fascinating.

I happen to play a G&L Tribute L2000, but I can't afford entangled strings.
(Oh wait, this isn't misinformation)

If you find one, be sure it is engineered for the northern hemisphere; otherwise, it will entangle your strings counterclockwise and you won't get the effect you were hoping for.
Good that you remind me. If conditions are right, counter entanglement could create a devastating black hole.

Leo Fender's first bass guitar design was not a P as many believe, but actually Jazz bass, but his backers felt the design was too risque with it's woman like curves for the 1950's. So he re-designed it with less curves and the Fender P was born. Of course, with the love generation of the 60's the March 1960 release of the old first designed Jazz bass fit right in the rest is history

Even the cheapest roundwound strings made are made to hold their tone like new for a minimum of 46 years.

Tone is all in the fingers and this is the problem.

Players just need to relax their fingers to get the right tone.

Using one of these just before going to sleep will change your tone forever.

Absolutely correct. Strings do not need to be changed, it is actually the fingers that need changing. It is a poor mechanic that blames their tools...
