Now keep in mind--I was there that day in 1933 when surf music was invented--in Cleveland.
All the beaches were closed--so I grabbed my Fender Jaguar & my friend had a Strat--and we plugged into his Twin Reverb amp--we cranked it--and invented surf music.

Carbon fiber is the best tonewood ever. The weight to tone ratio even beats that of the air bass.
Balsa is the best tonewood for those worried about the weight of their bass.
A bass case should be made of the same wood as the bass is made of. Otherwise cross contamination will take place, resulting in loss of tone quality and sustain.

Early metalheads loved surf music. As a result they often took up surfing but were completely unaware of the dangers...
