Let's spread some musical misinformation

Denny McLain said the music died back in the 60's. With all them cats playing jazz and blues there were millions of lives to keep the music going. I think music is on its last legs beacause the tube amp took the subway to Valve city. The acoustic guitar is relying on Micky finning the bass player?

A young Jimmy Page looks on as 2 men play their instruments. Notably, the bowed instrument is the earliest known electrified guitar.

Jimmy would later become known for his bowing technique on a modern electric guitar.

At that time Jimmy still wanted to become a scientist, so the next frame shows him swabbing their mouths prior to culturing their bacteria.

Sadly, all four members succumbed to cadmium, mercury and lead poisoning before they could be admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The mercury sent Noddy Holder mad as a hatter to the extent of wearing hats with mirrors on. And the lead guitarists haircut could only have been the result of the effects of a mind deranged by heavy metal poisoning.

There was a band from a small town in Illinois called Palos Heights. They wanted to name the band after their home town until the learned that Palos means "sticks" in Spanish.

They were afraid that people would make fun of them by saying they were the band from out in the sticks or from Stickville.

One guy was really sad about this and went riding the train all day. He fell asleep and woke up in a large station called Chicago Transit Authority. The rest is history.

Alas, though Mr Page was inspired at the time he was not able to master then nor presently the kazoo. He sucks at Kazoo. So Mr Plantation (stage name shortened to Mr Plant) suggested he should try harmonica instead and tried to teach him, but apparently Page blows at playing the harmonica.

It is illegal to play Sweet Home Alabama in Canada.

The words and title have been changed to allow it: "Sweet Home Alberta", but the translators are still arguing over semantics of "Maison Agréable d'Alberta", "Maison Doux de L'Alberta" et uhm and "Maison Gentiment au Alberta" ...

I was reading on the web this morning, The AMA has strongly recommended music needs to be played without sharps, and incidents are reported immediately to a supervisor. Using sharps without written permission will result in disapliary action including termination.
Discount Tires will no longer fix flats for musicians. AAA is expected to follow DT's lead. This free service is being restricted because too many songs are being played in Bb, Ab and Db. Discount is reviewing the same policy because the key of F has become very costly.
