You can't fool us, that is not an electric guitar, it is a gas powered guitar. One of the old ones with a two stroke, so you had to keep it loud enough or you would lose lubrication.

Rodent Cutlet, bass player for Poached Salmon In A White Wine Sauce died of electrocution last Saturday after mishearing his band leader's instructions and using a pickle instead of a pick during a charity gig in Helsinki. "We've learned something here today," said the chief of police to a large media contingent gathered at the venue. Reaching for a napkin and becoming somewhat agitated, he added, "If ever you find yourself in a pickle, please use a pick. Otherwise, the consequences may shock you," before clearing the crime scene and requesting a large jar of mayo and a box of cheese crackers.

Paul McCartney is actually right handed and originally played the guitar and bass right handed.... but during a very early gig they were on a tiny stage and George Harrison complained that Pauls bass headstock kept hitting him in the face and he remarked "Can't you turn that thing around"?
So the next gig, Paul turned up with a left handed bass and has played left handed ever since

Before the invention of the electric amp, guitarists would put a paper cup on the end of a string and tie it to their bridge. Then the audience would pass the cup around taking turns listening o the music. Once the amp was invented people still wanted to pass something around but they couldn't find anything. The bass player did have something (in his docket) in mind and started a ritual that is still being performed to this day at most rock concerts!

While Lemmy was a roadie for Hendrix, he told Jimi that he played bass and asked him if he could replace Noel Redding. Jimi told Noel about it, and Noel kicked Lemmy's ass.
Lemmy started playing a Ric because he saw that Geddy was playing one. Motorhead was a Rush tribute band to start but they found the music too easy to play and wanted to move on to something more complicated/challenging.

It is widely known (amongst bass-players) that Jaco got his slick fretless tone from fried chicken grease on his fingertips, residue from eating southern-fried chicken before every performance. However, it is NOT widely known where he got the idea from. That would be one certain Danish upright player ...

The secret to the success of Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen's fantastic chops is "Skagen Sild", a mixture of marinated herring, apples, shallots, sour cream, and dill. It's mainly the herring oil, of course, but he was very cagey about revealing his secret, lest yet more Jaco clowns, uh clones were spawned: so secretive that when confronted by music journalists if he consumed Skagen Sild Smørrebrød before performances he denied it completely and simply said ...

Vintage fenders are always better than modern reissues. And both are heads and shoulders above Gibsons.
Believe it or not, that's what alot of music shops try to make me believe. :D
