Let's spread some musical misinformation

Why are there so few Castanet soloist out there? my guess is it's something to do with politics, something I don't really want to get into right now. The shameful underworld of the music industry.

Actually...here's how to cast a net solo.

Before officially joining The Beatles, Richard Starkey was known as Watcho because he would always wear at least four watches on each arm. Brian Epstein, being the savvy businessman he was, told Watcho that he could wear no more than one watch at time if he joined the band. He explained that all the watches were counterproductive to the band's image. Watcho talked it over with the guys, and John came up with the idea for him to wear a bunch of rings and call himself Ringo, AFTER he signed Epstein's contract with the "only one watch" rule.

Once the Revolutionary War was over Paul Revere couldn't find a job. So, Ben Franklin sold him his old Electric Guitar and told him to make music. Paul started a band called Paul Revere & the Raiders and toured the local taverns until he was asked to play in England.... The day before the band was to play the London Palace, some guy named Roger Daltrey rode through London yelling "The Yanks are coming!" When the Queen heard about this, the Queen said..."Who is Roger Daltrey?" the king said, "NO! Roger Daltreyis the Who!"

Ben Franklin's electric guitar required a kite, key, and thunderstorm.

Piano stools appear commonly, in front of ninety-five percent of all pianos, and yet no one, to my knowledge, has ever witnessed one taking a dump. So, it has to be said, pianos, like so many of us, must be unflinchingly refined and private types who always politely hold on until the room has been cleared and the lights have gone out. I have installed a spy cam in front of mine and hope to have some revelations to share with the musical world, within days. Stay tuned.

Be sure to feed your piano lots of beans, onions and eggs.

it's a well known fact that the lower you wear your bass the higher your voice becomes and vice versa
that's why people like Victor Wotten have very deep voices when they sing!

Ahhhh So that's how Geddy hits the high-notes! I thought I was seeing things when his bass dropped to his knees on some of the high notes he hit in concert. His bass strap is one of those Super-Sonic Super-Strong Super-Stretcho Super-Straps®™ — I always thought he bought those for their comfort level; He just pushes the bass down for the highnotes and ... "Take off... to the Great White North..."

Soon super basses will be built from wood, obtained from genetically manipulated trees.

I've started growing my semi-hollow body — semi-hollow 'cause the wood I've selected is strong, but heavy: Ironwood.

Custom bass, here I come... BONSAI!
