Let's spread some musical misinformation

A new hot rumor - the long lost Who album has been found and is about to be released!

"Who's on First" showcases the talents of John Entwistle's son, then age 8. He played on most of the tracks when his father was unable to. Similarly, offspring of Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey were heavily involved. Note the sound of a toy piano in the background. Likely initial radio play - Who the hell are you? I don't know (3rd bass).

Freedom of info act time, again...

Those whales that beach themselves? They're not doing it because of sonar experiments by the US Navy, but rather because of SSERA, which stands for:

Strategic
Sonic
Experiments
Rick
Asstley

Yup, the US Navy has been experimenting with sonic warfare, transmitting Rick Asstley recordings that can penetrate the hull of enemies' submarines, aircraft carriers and other watercraft, thus driving the enemy sailors within, insane. The whales are just trying to escape this cruel and inhumane form of torture.

Ohhh, those poor, poor whales... who could blame them? US citizens, write your congressperson now, to put a stop to whales suffering this barbaric approach to warfare, it surely must go against the Geneva Convention.

Band rules and regulations

1) The lead singer is almost always right, unless the bassist disagrees,
2) The lead guitar player decides how to play a riff, unless the bassist has different ideas,
3) The drummer is responsible for the rhythm, as long as the bassist agrees,
4) The band members do fully agree with the natural leadership of the bassist and
5) If the band members don't, the bassist is always right.

Claims that "All strings are made in the same factory!" is utter nonsense. Each type is made in a different locale.

Flat wounds, regardless of manufacturer, are made in a small flat in East Sussex, hence their name.

Similarly, ground wounds are all made on a farm just outside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, by rolling the strings on the ground until sufficiently abraded. Groundhogs are rubbed over the strings and if the fur snags, the strings are ground some more until the fine hairs of the groundhog do not catch.

Hex wounds are made in Haiti by voodoo priests.

Peculiarly, round-wounds have nothing to do with their shape, they're just made in Rwanda and the name over time has become transfigured.

With your permission I'm printing, framing and hanging that on the wall in our rehearsal room.

Mojo Nixon's and Skid Roper's "Burn Down the Malls" caused underground riots and every mall in the US was indeed burned down.
To avoid a complete public-panic, the military (all of it) and National Guard, auxiliaries and militia were called in to rebuild and resupply ALL the malls OVERNIGHT!
It's the greatest undertaking of a project by man, and came at great expense – hence the real reason behind the US deficit.
It worked though, 'cause you could still get your sketchers and cool-whip after meeting your friends down at the mall for a movie and mini-golf.
Still didn't solve the national drinking age-limit and voting situation though – old enough to vote for one danged fool or another, but y' can't get a beer, no you can't get a beer.
