The HX Effects is very powerful in a way I didn't expect.
Ex. 1: Suppose you have an "always on" OD pedal that you want to replace with a fuzz pedal for a section in the song, instead of switching the OD off and then the fuzz on (and vice-versa), simply assign both pedals to the same switch, with the OD on and Fuzz off, and save to a preset. Then in pedal mode, simply press the switch to go from one another and back.
Ex. 2: Suppose you have an always on pedal that you want to switch the gain from 9 o'clock (light overdrive) to 3 o'clock (full overdrive), then assign the gain to a switch (in the Controller Assign section or pressing the parameter for a few seconds), with a min value and a max value. Switch off is min value, switch on is max value.
Ex. 3: Suppose you want to use the same expression pedal for volume and for wah in the same preset. Simply assign the volume and the wah to the same switch (volume on, wah off) and the same expression input. I now can control the volume with the pedal, it the switch and now control the wah, it the switch again to go back to control the volume.
Ex. 4: Simply touch the switch with your finger for a few seconds and you now have all the parameters appears, not limited anymore to the first three and using the <- and -> keys to see the others.
Ex. 5: Always on blocks don't need to be assigned to a switch, like a parametric eq.
