Low Down Sound Club, Part Four

I found a C1512-28NF used locally for $449. I've been very curious about LDS and have never have the chance to play one until today. The shop had a Peavey Tour 700 head hooked up to it, and I used a poorly setup MIM Jazz bass.
This cab has me seriously thinking about selling one of my DB212's to fund the LDS. Ya, it's a big cab, but it reminds me of a deeper SVT810.
Is the asking price too high? It's missing the badge and the grill needs to be re-sprayed, but the tolex and wheels look good.

Looks like I ended up with Digthemlows LDS 15/6.
I am running a GK 700RBII through it.
So far I am really digging the sound and low end.
We will see how it sounds in a band setting.
one thing I have noticed, just in my home is that the sound stays very much the same as I move around the room, which I like.
where as with the 2x10, 4x10, and 2x12 cabs I have used in my home, I would get a sound I like standing in front of the cab, but as I moved off to the side the sound would change pretty drastically.
I cant wait to open this thing up

Well, I just ordered a 212/6 from Don! 
After doing a bunch of research and checking out a BUNCH of different threads, I decided that an LDS cab was what I has in mind. After a few emails back and forth and a 45 min discussion with the man, I happily gave him a deposit for my replacement for the 100lb 410 that I've been schlepping for the last couple of years.
I'm pretty excited!

Playing an LDS 15/6 at church as a stage monitor a little overkill...
Sure.
Being able to hear and feel my bass at its best...
Totally worth it.
I am loving this cab more each time I play it. Articulate and deep.

With the 12/6/1 on top, it's almost as tall as me.
The MBF800, not even turned up, is insanely loud.
Nutso, crazy, freakin' never gonna need it loud.
I'm gonna roll a few gigs with the MBF800 and just the 15/6/1, and then maybe order a 15 sub from Don.

Maybe try this mod before you get rid of the SRW...?

How does your 15/6 fair against the 12/6+12 sub?
I am snagging a 12/6 from Lomo with the Faital mid for small gigs and practices, can't wait to here it!
