Yeah. I don't want to carry anything that big, even if it's light.
So.......
I have a 15/6/1 that weighs 55lbs, is on wheels, and is a great one cab solution for everything medium sized and under. I use either a GKMBF800 or GK1001 to power it.
The GK MBF500 is a great little head, but breaks up early at 8 ohms.
I've thought about adding the 15 sub, but:
I have a 12/6/1+12 sub that adds up to 4 ohms. Any of the 3 heads above will make it louder than you'll ever need, IMO. Modular is easier for me to move; ymmv.
Yeah I'll be keeping my MB800 for sure since a compact 8 ohm cab is probably in my future. I'm considering using a non-LF 3015 since I already have one and I suspect the overall sensitivity specs may be favorable just depending on the design.
