Low Down Sound Club, Part Four

This is pseudo-LDS related. Today I received a cover from Sharp Covers for my LDS 15/6. The fit is perfect, but the darn thing smells like an ash tray.

I pay everything with a credit card. Even PayPal, I never have funds taken directly from my linked bank account. That way I can always get my credit card company involved in any dispute, & if needed get my money credited back to my account.

BAM!

What is that, you ask?

Why that is my new 2x15" & 2x6" sealed LDS cabinet in white tolex that just arrived today. Even just the half hour of break in I managed to squeeze in today made me extremely happy.

What mids and where did they crossover? Don was telling me about your cab when it was being built. He's currently working on my 2x15 loaded with 3015' full range, and an eminence super tweet highpassed at 3.5khz just in case I get in the mood to slap. Each 15 is in it's own sealed compartment so that I can seal the ports on one or both. Kinda handy. Congrats, that is a beautiful cab.

Now I'm a little pissed off. When I ordered the cabinet I posted above, I very specifically requested (and Don confirmed) that it was to be 24" wide. For the first time tonight, I brought home my Ampeg SVT Classic (which is also 24") from our rehearsal space. The cabinet, much to my dismay, is only 22" wide. I hadn't noticed until I put the head on top and it hung off the sides. Don and I will be having a conversation in the morning.......
