My SpeakerHardware built 3012HO loaded BFM Jack (with melded array) is getting on the truck today or tomorrow too. Pretty soon, hopefully, I'll post a shootout of it with the fEarful - obviously an apples to oranges comparison, but in terms of a ~40lb ~500 dollar single cab stage monitoring solution I think it's a fair comparison.

After waiting 10 months for my Stambaugh a few months is not so bad. I ended up ordering a couple 112s from Don, asking him to make them with a similar tone to the epi ps112s.
Wait time is probably one drawback of custom made cabs, but I think you kinda have to expect that. I was prepared for a bit of a wait.

Just talked to Don on the phone a couple hours ago. My cabs are back from spray. One was going to be finished within the hour, the second was going to be finished by tomorrow afternoon.
Don plans on getting them shipped out Monday. I'm beyond excited to get these, especially since this weekend I'm going to be picking up the other parts of what I'm calling my "stadium rig"

Darkstar-equipped G4 -> Tech 21 VT Bass -> Power Amp -> 15/6/1's

Funny thing is our rig's will be very similar.
Me:
DS equipped shortscale tele bass > VT Bass > poweramp > single 15/6
But I'll also have my LDS 112 stack + LMII.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread; If I like the 15/6's as much as I think I will, I'm considering having Don build me a 12/6 with a 1U airhead, then having Putnam Guitars do the 1U rack mod with ICE power amp module mod to my existing VT Bass (since I'll be buying a VT Bass Deluxe when they're available for use with the 15/6's/power amp rig). That way I'd have a one-hand solution for any of the smaller gigs and backup for acoustic singer-songwriter types that I've been doing and would still have the same basic tone. Might be a pipe dream as I could almost as easily just take one 15/6, rack and board... but that would still require two trips from the car into the venue... hmmmmm.... perhaps I'm getting spoiled when I consider 2 trips to be cumbersome
Folding cart makes all gigs one trip for me. :> Still, the idea of a one hand total amp and cab thing without having to screw around with cabling and such sounds nice.
The 1u airhead 12/6 is really an interesting concept with the nice 1u amps out now also (MB2-500, F1/F500).

An MB2-500 would no doubt sound fantastic as well. I've owned several of them, and while I was in love with the tone (GK is quite possibly my favorite standalone amp tone I've ever used), I found them to, along with my 2001RB, to be unreliable. The service was great and GK never left me without an amp, but I just got tired of the runaround.
I haven't been able to get into the sound of the F1/F500 unfortunately. I wanted to like that amp, but it's just not for me. I do really enjoy the LMII/III/LMT tone, but I typically throw my VT in front of my LMT to get it the rest of what my ears think its missing.
