I don't expect to gig this until Jan (funkranomicon is on a break as we bring in a new keyboard player) - but I'll let you know!

Meanwhile - pics!

She'll get a workout at rehearsal tomorrow.

Beautiful rigs... both of you!

I had the honor and pleasure to briefly play both of those cabs before they shipped, and they both sound just beautiful to me! I LOVE that 'wine' tolex sort of thing, and both grills look good in their own way.

Beautiful stuff!:bassist:

Thanks Tom & Ken. Ken, I think you played Deb's 12/6. Mine is the same though with the exception of the grill, his is black versus my tan.

Great cab! I got mixed up... I played someone's cab with that grill covering, but think it was a 15/6.

I LOVE your spec (the Faital/3012LF)... beautiful, clear, and a suprisingly present upper treble response for a two way cab.

Nice! You cab is an amazing match (tonally and aesthetically) to that amazing Rob Allen. Good job on that!

All true. But will it become my backup when my Thunderchild arrives on Thursday? :)

Yeah, I love the tan grill cloth on yours. Very, very classy.
I'll wind up replacing my grill cloth with a metal grill - kittenproof.
Meanwhile mine hides behind a cardboard shield (the shipping box) when I'm not playing through it.

I know it will need some break-in, but even so, the sound is very good.

Don says my 2x12 dual 3012HO will be shipping soon. All he could tell me is the dimensions, I asked specifically for 20" wide by 29" tall, he says he gave it around a 16" depth, I assume tuning around 55Hz. Should be plenty loud and deep enough for me - I'm not nuts about super-lows. He told me over the phone the box is built. I hope to have it very soon. Can't wait!

Don't be shy with the EQ if you need it, but you will love this cab. Insanely loud to say the least. I had a single 1x12 w/3012HO and it was loud enough for a lot of gigging :) Rocker's dream cab, seriously.

Took the new LDS cab to rehearsal tonight, and it just KILLED.
Very full, rich sound - I'm used to a strong midrange from my BFM, but this really brought in the lows. Major booty shaking sound here.
I'm stoked.

I don't know the exact details of that cab, but whatever crossover is in there sounds REALLY nice.
