Forward Air is actually the company that damaged my LDS cab and apparently won't move on the insurance claim.
Glad it arrived and seems to be safe and sound. Looking forward to hearing about how it plays!
Good to hear that you got your cab finally, mntngrown.

We will have to do a cab GTG or split a club gig soon, bearing in mind I have not even heard it yet. I was an early adopter of GB's Carvin boutique on a budget idea so I am sure I will like it once I hear it. (if all the solder joints are good)![]()
Got my 2x12 - I thought I'd made it pretty clear I wanted the speakers perfectly vertical, ie NOT STAGGERED.
Edit: It sounds great. Nevertheless, I gotta talk to Don about this one. Am I wrong to be upset?

It sounds great and the price was right so I am not complaining too much about it.LOL he didn't even put any feet on, which I plainly asked for. Just corner protectors. Not going to say anything else until I hear back from him.
This thread reminds me of the Wishbass Club thread...
..I tried to come up with a humorous reply to that but I'm so turned-off right now not much seems funny. Hopefully this gets sorted out, but I'm not holding my breath.
Again, besides the speakers needing break-in time, the tone and sound is more-or-less there, but the build quality... Oi. If this were a commercially-produced cabinet I have no doubt I'd have a customer service rep enthusiastically apologizing to me right now. The damn LDS logo is glued on crooked. :scowl: There's more but I'm trying to remain calm.
