Yeah, I could understand if they'd just said the distribution centre is in the US, but bringing the coronavirus into it just seems weird.

Everybody is bringing the coronavirus into everything. Today, I received an email from a promoter wanting out if a contract on the grounds that he's not seeing the numbers he expected because of the epidemic... We are in Toronto.

My three packages have all left the sorting facility, according to http://ems.com.cn. Yesterday I noticed it said "destinating United States" somewhere, but I can't remember where. Odd, since I live in Norway.
Read a few posts up, I'm in the UK and the bass is apparently coming via the US because of the coronavirus outbreak...

I think they're normally shipped from the US NJ warehouse, so that could explain it. I'm not sure why he thought it necessary to throw in the coronavirus bit, but he responds to messages on eBay and is very polite. Fingers crossed!

interesting. I just went to "my ebay" and both say they were shipped under the same tracking number.
I ordered them one after the other. Regardless, they both say "shipped"
I ordered two items together. They have the same tracking number. When checked, tracking shows:

the same seller now has some listed as being in jersey. mine supposedly shipped from china, and because i am just so curious about how this will turn out, i just ordered the same bass from NJ. it says it'll reach me by march 14.
Mine was listed as NJ, same seller as yesterday (who was listed as shipped via CN and Hong Kong).
I'm not worried. This is a small number of basses and guitars in the whole scheme of things. Years and years ago I bought a nice bicycle frame via a "group buy" for very cheap. It took months and months but it came and I've loved the frame and it's my main rider nowadays. This reminds me of that situation, it's like a group buy but most likely a sell off.
