The Demeter added tooooo much low end to my sound.
I never found this to be the case. I've always thought it was rather tight and focused in all registers, with no notable preponderance or exaggeration of frequencies.

I've decided on one of these as well but they are impossible to find at the moment. Hopefully MarkBass is making a huge batch of them.
Call the GC in Chicago on Halsted, they had two the last time I looked.

One thing I am curious about is being a tube pedal, after say 2 hours of playing or recording, does the pedal start to sound more crunchy?
Not sure if that makes sense, but while tracking guitars recently we had to switch amps because we couldn't get a "clean" sound anymore with the tubes blazing hot on the amp.
