MarkBass LittleMark IV?

I tend to prefer rat fur on a combo because I can 'Velcro' things to it: Like my HPF or an occasional compressor. I'd rather have the knobs within easy reach and not on the floor. Velcro so I won't drag it off, and it stays put even on the side or on a tiltback.
That's a really interesting idea. I've got a handful of pedal and I'd never considered putting them direction ON the amp.

Called yesterday and was told that the shipping store was out of packing material and they were waiting for that, but there were no warehouse employees there since it was Sunday, and it seemed like a weird answer, so I called again today. Turns out they have no idea why someone would claim that they were out of packing material, and they also didn't know why the packaged up amp was still sitting in the store...

So anyway, unless they're lying, it's being sent overnight shipping today. Guitar Center is a real treat.

So far so good. Just messing around so far. It’s hard to concentrate too much with my four kids all over it.

Looks great! I really like the yellow and black face. But the ability to kick it back is so cool.
You'll always hear yourself.
That’s what sold me initially. The new ones don’t do that I guess, but it really seems like a cool design choice, so I’m not sure why they’d get rid of it. I like being able to expand also. My Rumble was stacked and I really liked having the flexibility.

I've been looking for a lightweight combo for quite some time but have never settled on any
particular one. It just needed to be as light as possible with best sound possible. I have never been impressed with the Rumbles so they were out. I've been leaning more toward GK because of owning and loving my old RB400. So Friday of last week I went to GC to try out what they had and decided to try a Markbass. They had a Mini CMD 121 on clearance still in the box. Bought it and with the idea if I didn't like it I would return it during the 45 day trial period. So far I'm really impressed with it's power, tone and weight, which is really important being 69 HaHa!! Don't think I'll be taking it back!
I haven't played out with it just yet but so far I can see I'm going to be using it a lot! I'm not going to be needing my 4x10 cabinet as much!! Loving this 26 lbs. mini giant!!

I have a 121HR cabinet that also tilts into monitor mode. I'll not let it go and, yes, MarkBass discontinued it. I can't imagine why. It sounds great!

An excellent combo amp! Great choice and super price if you got the $749 Clearance price. I believe the CMD121P is Markbasse's most popular combo amp. Add a 121P cab if you ever need more and be amazed!
500watt 2x12" stack.

Yes 749! I also got a two year total replacement plan too just in case!!
An added cab would probably take care of all my gigs. My SWR 4x10
it's terrible heavy but not exactly light either!! 26lbs. and I think the ext. cab is 30.

Will do!! This might be the do all amp for me!! BTW I meant to say my 4x10 cab wasn't terribly heavy!! Just to be clear!!
I just noticed on your page your a lefty that plays right! Thats me as well!!
Yea, the lefty thing was a tough choice as a kid but now I can't even imagine playing lefty. The die is cast!
By the way, I have a 1x12" MarkBass cabinet with a LittleMark head, (essentially the same thing as your combo but in 2 pieces).
I also have two MarkBass 2x10"s if I need to get very loud. But these days, the 1x12" or just one 2x10" has been enough for what I'm doing. Best of luck with your new combo!
If I were buying today, I would have chosen the combo for it's grab n go convenience and added a second 1x12" for additional thrust if needed. You would be shocked at how much louder that combo gets with the 2nd 1x12" under it.

Thanks. Can't wait to play out with it. I'll probably be rehearsing this weekend and I have a gig on
the 18th. I for some reason just wanted played right-handed I guess because my Father played guitar
and I just learned from him. I like what you said about crab n go......that's always been my
philosophy HaHa! Plug and play!! Keep it simply as possible.

Playing with these EQ settings is going to be fun. I've got 8 different basses all with different pickups and voices. Might have to make a cheat sheet to remember how everything is supposed to be set. What's everyone's favorite settings for a nice growly sound?

You've definitely gotten me thinking about the second cabinet. I've always leaned towards the cabs with multiple smaller speakers (2x10, 4x10), but the 1x12 or 1x15 is an interesting idea.
First time I used the extra cab things fell of the wall in the rehearsal room, so quickly unplugged. Other time there was a gig in a place fit for at least 200 people ( half showed up ;) and there it was good. No need for PA or turning it up a lot.
