Practice rig for tonight. That little Mesa is pretty mean.

Friends,

A movie version of Bigfoot is currently being shot in Colorado. The producers have decided to source some of the soundtrack using local artists. My current project, Fina Dupa, submitted one of the tracks from our recent CD for consideration as part of the soundtrack.

Our song, called "Alligator", has been chosen as one of twenty finalists by the Denver area radio station hosting the selection. They are selecting the winner partially by vote.

Will you spend 30 seconds and vote for our song? Simply do the following:

- Go to http://www.alice1059.com/
- Find and click the link for "Battle of the Bands - Listen then vote for your fav song out of 20 finalists! "
- Vote for Fina Dupa - Alligator

Please, send this message to your friends. This is a numbers game now - we need all the votes we can get. Where you live does not matter.

The voting will be finalized at the end of the day this Wednesday - so go quickly!

Thanks!

Bringing this back from the depths...

Has anyone gone through and tried all the different Markbass heads? I'm curious as to how the tone differs from head to head. Wondering how the ones with tube preamps sound in comparison to the LMII...

So what is tonally different between the:

LMII, R500, TA501, SD800, and the F1. Do they all make the same tone in different ways, or do they each do their own thing?

Thanks guys... hope one of you out there has been luck enough to try a few of these.

Oh Ken!!! Ken? Are you there?????

Hello all,

Oh, brother; here we go again!

I'm looking for a few words of advice. I have an opportunity to purchase either a Schroeder 410L or 21012L at a good price. I've been looking for a mid-sized cab to put under my SD800 for medium size gigs. I'm playing everything from Delta Blues to dance covers in four different groups.

My main cab is a Schroe 1210R (4 o) with very little FOH support. I play a Smith 5str finger-style.

I've spoken to Jorg and his advice is always valuable.

Any advice I get from my fellow TB'ers will be appreciated.

Later, Kirk

Just posted this in another thread. Anyway...

Got a SD800, a STD151HR and a 102P. Didn't played it a lot yet, but I like it A LOT. I think that's it - That's my sound... I was looking for a SD800 for a looong time... Finally found one.

As incredible as it may sound, my DB750, GK1001rbII, and my Bergantino cabinets will probably have to move somewhere else.

Oh dang!! I've been eyeballing a 104HF for a big cab.

Sounds like you've got a killer setup! Definitely post some follow-up.
