I suppose I can share some morsels and not ruin the meal, eh?
Well, one funny observation was from our guitar player. He laughed at how we had to wait for the bass rig to reboot after we blew a breaker.

In truth, that whole computer-controlled power tubes thing is pretty amazing. It's a bit odd seeing a tube head with an LCD screen and a serial port, but man, that head is sweet. It performed very well. Plenty of tube fullness and girth, but with a surprising degree of clarity. And the 108 was a real joy to move around. It's so darned light for its size! But it does not sound it, at all. I did boost the bass a bit, but it handled it well, and I liked the high end clarity.
On the whole, it was a great rig, that worked well for a wide variety of tones/genres.
