Got my MB SS this weekend....yea! Using it today for rehersal. Downloaded the MB editor yesterday, it works perfectly on my net book!....yess! I will put it on my other 2 computers eventually.

Sharing sound settings can also be done by copy/paste the xml text below (for the Taurus settings) into notepad and save it as a plain text file, and open it in the Markbass controller software.

thanks bassguy 1967 going to try this again. I ma runing windows 7 and its seems the folders are labeled differently and in different location than what I read here.
I would like to share some moog type sounds I have come with.
ALso I am dissapointed in not being able to get a sharp attack like a pluck or click. It looks to me like the attack and release times just cannot make that happen.

so when I drag the plain text file into the markbass presets window I get a message "import 1 synth/octave preset files (existing presets might be overwritten)?
Will I lose my presets?
DOnt know why i didnt think of dragging the file into the program. Thanks!

I just got me one of these used yesterday and wow, what fun. I can only hope that my band keeps coming up with dance/techno covers so I can use it more!!

Another question on power: Will the Aux 110VAC outlet be sufficient to power it? I know the outlet says 200W max, but the wall wart for the SS doesn't have a power consumption number on it.
