Just picked up this Comodous 4 last weekend from Music Store Live. I'm still getting to know it but it is clearly the highest quality bass I've had. Plays beautifully. No gigs for a few days so I don't know how the Aguilars are going to sound, but they do well in the headphones through a B|Amp and PJB Big Head. Nice round tone so far. The liquid red over the eye poplar really sold it for me.

Here's my Jabba 5. It have my own design ramp. Its 3mm acrylic plate and rests in pickupheight screws and attached in one long pickguard screw. Under it is my last name's A. I have all my basses ramp. And this bass is soooo versatile.

I've been wanting a Mayones Jabba in Buckeye Burl for a little over 2 years but wouldn't pull the trigger because most was in the 10-11 pound range. Well a dealer I've been in contact with for the last year finally got this beauty in weighing 9 pounds even. He said he is the largest Mayones dealer for sales volume and sales over 100 a year. Anyways he raved about this bass saying it was the best Jabba bass he's ever had in his shop. Love the sound of these Delano pickups.

I'm in! been a big fan of Federico Malaman for many years, been checking out the Mayones booth at the last few NAMMs and finally pulled the trigger in Jan on this 2018 Mayones Jabba Mala 5, my pictures don't do it justice but has been my main bass since purchase! Also bought some IQS strings while at NAMM (Federico has a signature line), very nice remind me of the Infeld IN345 I played before.

Yes, Liquid Red. They did a nice job here, so much richer than a straight finish. Lots of compliments on gigs too btw.
