Meatbox reissue, huh?

Yep, with a TRS cable you can send the dry to your amp and the Oct/Sub to the mains.

I use one of these though, so I can use my regular 1/4" cables:

One more quick question I have regarding connection so I don't happen to blow any speakers on my stage rig and if I don't run to a PA.

I have an Ampeg SVT18 cab (not the lower wattage 8 ohm SVT18E) and was wondering if I use this connector if I could run one output back to the amp and if the other could be run with a 1/4" to a Speakon cable to the SVT18, and if I did that the pedal would know to send the sub signal to the SVT18?

Well the pedal doesn't "know" since there isn't any auto-sensing logic on the outs, it is hard-wired with the split. I make that distinction because we actually do have digital pedals that auto-sense. On the Meatbox, the tip is is the oct/sub and the ring is the dry. So with the connector shown above you would connect to your rig, plug in one side to find out if it is effected, if not that is the sleeve and that goes to your amp. If is effected (you hear octave and sub) then that one goes to the 18.

'...should be in next week.'

Awesome. Looks like the wait will be over soon....

I hate to break it to you, but they were scheduled to be shipped by bike messenger traveling by cargo ship from China, and they had the wrong concentric pots for the wrong type of bike and then the ship lost its cargo overboard anyway.

Please direct me to the 'concentric pots' joke...I keep seeing it and am tired of being out of the loop.

Okay, I'm going to be lame and explain the joke in exquisite detail. It's two Boneshaker jokes and a Bass Whammy joke.

In 2014 Bass Whammys were delayed being shipped from China. There was a lost cargo shipment around that time that made the news and some joking speculation around here that it included the Whammys (I don't think this was the case).

More recently, the Boneshakers were delayed due to the unavailability of certain specific needed concentric potentiometers. Also, they called it a "Boneshaker" and then put a Penny Farthing on the pedal instead of a true Boneshaker bicycle. This caused a minor uproar and a constant source of jokes on TB. Official word from Digitech is that it was a conscious marketing decision rather than a mistake. I think it would be fair to say that some (not necessarily including me) remain skeptical! :D

Gear and bike snobs are very similar. This is why you don't mix 'em...

Well, I hope the Meatbox doesn't add to the DigiTech delay lore.

And pre-ordered!! It is so on...... I really hope SW gets these on the 22nd. I hate wait.

Sorry if youve been asked this already @DigiTechRep, but all is well so far with the shipment of these right? I thought I saw you post that things were looking solid.

We are in the middle of mass production right now and all is going well. I am expecting arrival on the 30-31'st which means the end of the following week they'll begin to hit stores. As usual I'll try to keep you guys updated as to when I start to see them hitting shelves.
