Meatbox reissue, huh?

While we're waiting for the reissue meatbox to get out into the wild, for those of you who are getting / have ordered the reissue, do you guys also have an original meatbox and/or something similar like the meat bag or the density hulk? or is this your first foray into subwoofer annihilation?!? I wonder if we'll see more meatboxes in people's rigs now that there is a reissue, etc.

Personally, i'll be buying the reissue meatbox. i currently have a density hulk on my board and use it a lot. ive also borrowed an original meatbox a few months ago to compare with the hulk.
Just curious where everyone is coming from.

This is my first party with the meatbox or anything like it. I've wanted one for a long time but never got one. I was so happy when they finally announced the reissue.

How are using yours?? I plan on trying mine in a loop with just the fdeck1 to help protect my speakers. See how that goes. I am a tad worried about driving my cab too hard and was thinking about an extra powered sub. But that won't happen for a while.

If you have PA support, which you really need for the Meatbox to be effective IMO, you could just keep your stage volume down and not have to worry about adding a sub.[/QUOTE

I usually do. So I'm not too worried about it. But as far as practice is concerned, it's all me. Not that I'll be majorly bumpin, but we do get loud. And I want to let my band mates experience what the meatbox is all about ;)

Awwww man! I assumed mine was being shipped. Cuz I received this text yesterday. image.jpg
