I reread the thread title: Men Shaving... I'll never understand

Since shaving is a personal preference for nearly all men, your understanding is not needed or required.

OTOH, if facial hair or any other practice is imbued with social, cultural, religious or other significance, then that's fine for you, just don't start pounding on other's who do not share your beliefs because you're on the edge or maybe past it going towards fanaticism and ideology. And we all know how that ends...

During the winter facial hair keeps my face warmer, however it actually contributes a lot to drying my skin out on my face as well because water and moisture gets caught in the hairs and when I go outside into the cooler air it chaps my face and drys out my skin. So I actually clean shave now. I always seem to have a 5 o'clock shadow and it grows pretty fast (I shave 3-4 times a week). I don't mind the clean shave look personally, but I like having a gotee and sideburns casually as well but I take care of them and trim it up.

If you must know, it was my test-wife, my current wife, and a couple of ladies in between.

I always have some facial hair, goatee or beard. When i have a beard i still shave under the chin and around my cheeks.

Straight razor shaving feels AMAZING. that is all.

I'm gonna take this thread a step further & say that body hair is for cavemen. It's unsightly + the sensation of touch is waaaay better when smooth for both the toucher & the touchee. And yes- I have girly feet (most guys feet are gnarly :scowl & can rock a skirt no problem. Remember- only real men can wear pink Seriously, I don't know how you could possibly get a clean wipe with a layer of fur down there.

PS- this may be the most bass unrelated thread I've seen here on TB

Really? I honestly don't think so. It certainly wasn't intended that way. If anything, the joke was all about homophobia.

None of my gay friends would take any offence at that at all.
