Men Shaving... I'll never understand

His ability to meet his word. His independence of thought and action. In fact I would like to divert this thread to find just what each of you feel what makes a man. Surely not his facial hair.

I wouldn't go as far to say that I'm on Tony Blows side but how you dress and how you present yourself does matter. Maybe not in your downtime but on the job, meeting new people, going to interviews and even interacting with service people, presentation matters plenty. Not that it has any bearing on what makes a man though. In a perfect world that stuff wouldn't have as much sway as it does but we're not there yet.

Thanks for the response. Let me clarify. Presentation is different that being than latest and greatest. My tie being a few mm off shouldn't be the focus when dealing with matters of importance. The facts should be.

Even things that appear to important may not be what should decide a matter. Confidence is probably the number one attribute that people look for. Only a fool is totally confident since. In fact the more you got on the ball the more you realize that the fecal matter of destiny and the rotating inclined plane of fate are always mere millimeters from one another. In fact with Heisenberg being name that's been getting a lot of coverage these day uncertainly should be coat tailing.

In fact most new ideas fail. It's my understanding that an individual with enterperneual drives should expect to fail 90% of the time. Ouch. But that 10% of winning makes it good. To make the point Babe Ruth, the Home Run King was also the strike out King. But he got up every time and swung that bat.

I'm not immune. I subconsciously brand anyone with a soul patch as an, well not so good. On top I keep those urges down and still treat them like a human.

Barry Bonds is the official home run leader in mlb history, then Hank Aaron, babe Ruth is 3rd, just to be factual :hiding: lol

First of all if you work somewhere that you need to even occasionally wear a respirator they will require you to be clean shaven if you want to keep your job. As for body hair in other spots, shaving can actually eliminate a lot of body odor issues.

Which is where I work which is why I'm shaved..

Even though there's 0 chance I'd ever see a respirator.

I'll admit not being current. Wait until you reach my age But remember there's no "asterisk" next to anything about the Babe. He lacked the technology available to today's players.

His idea of performance enhancing drugs would be a large meal and a few growlers of beer. In other words he was magnanimous in giving others a fighting chance.

The babe was a legend. Still is. I can't believe there will be time when civilized humans are unaware of him and his accomplishments.
