Mesa/Boogie Official Club Thread...Part #2

finally got pics up now its official. Has a lot of overdrive on input 1 and even a good bit on input 2. Great clean tone input 1 actually has some nice jazz tone in it when you dial it back. Even Input 1 sounds good for bass. Sounds like an old bassman kinda. Input 2 though for bass brings the hammer as far as tone possibilities. Really really really loud too. master at 10 with the volume around 4-5 is all the more i have pushed it. started shaking the practice house.

Just realized I am "all Mesa" now and have never been happier with my gear. I picked up a Walkabout head, 410 and 210 cabs today for a killer deal. Along with my M9/PH412 and Walkabout/Scout112 rigs, I am set for anything. Now all I need is a gig and some time to practice! :)

Guess that it's time for me to become a member of the Mesa Club. Used Eden for a number of years but at the volume I like to play, Eden never seemed loud enough (no disrespect intended to Eden or Eden users; my impression only). Mesa is certainly loud enough (for now). This is my practice rig.

Not many heads out there that pump more volume per rated watt than a carbine!

I do love the Rhino/silver grill era of these cabs. I actually bought my silver 412 cab this summer and sold my newer black grilled one as I much prefer the look of the older version. The tolex seems more durable.

Thanks! Heavy rack for Heavy music!! Totally worth it! That "anal" amp is my guitarist's Peavey XXX. It just has a cover that says anal to protect it from kicking. I bet its just that since I've gotten my RR1000 I've been sitting better in the mix he thinks someones messing with his tone settings!

Finally got enough of my Mesa stuff together to take a few pictures.

Here's my M6, 400+, and Powerhouse Jr cabinet. Not pictured is my 1516.

On the right is the micro rig for when my backs a bit sore.

Since this is more of a Mesa overall question, figured I'd hit this thread maybe first-
anyone bought Mesa gear new w/ Warranty from GC? I need a driver replaced on one of my PH212's and HOPEFULLY I wouldn't have to ship it to CA for service and they could just order a new driver, but I'm not 100% sure.
Hoping to just take it up to the GC I bought it from and have them fix it there.

I would think you would have to take it to an authorized repair facility in your area for warranty service. I bought a PH412 used this year and it had a blown crossover. I tool it to the local repair shop and it was covered under warranty with no problems. Took a few weeks for pats to arrive from Mesa but I was so happy to be able to utilize the 5 year warranty.

Do I need to call Mesa for that or do they list it on their website? From your posts, it's almost like they don't answer the phone, so... :D

Edit: Well looks as there's only 3 in TX, and none in Houston. :facepalm: Awesome job guys! Better call them and make sure before I trek all the way over to Austin to drop it off....

I would try to call Mesa first. They might just send you a new one, but then again they very well might need to have someone verify that it's shot before they do that.

I just tried putting in a claim on my Walkabout Scout speaker last month. It seemed to me like they were leaning in the direction of me taking it to a repair facility, but they also seemed like they might have sent me the speaker if I asked nice.

It ended up being out of warranty though, so I had to buy one out of pocket. They sent me a Deltalite 2512 straight form Eminence as a replacement.
