Mesa/Boogie Official Club Thread...Part #2

Yeah. It kills me. I currently have TBer Smallmouth Bass' Walkabout (which he bought from me last year) on loan with option to buy and am digging it so thoroughly I am (once again) kicking myself in the butt for having parted with it. Am figuring out where my next WA will come from and had an opportunity to trade for the one in CA as opposed to paying $$ for this one (Smallmouth is totally aware and cool with all of it). When paired with my TC12, this head is pure aural sex and the box is 4 Ohms and CAN take all the WA will dish without a whimper.....very loud and thick. Best small rig ever for me.

Thats a bummer lomo.Dont know if this will help,when I had an issue I dealt with Richard Duvall at Mesa.He was just awesome-pushed my stuff through as I was on a big time crunch and even had a goodie or two in my return box.Always responded within a few hours and could not have been more helpful.You might call them and ask for him.

Not trying to be a smartass, but your question only leads to many, many more questions. Here are a few:

What amp do you have?

What is it doing that you don't like?

What else have you tried to fix it?

Easiest answer to this question is try a new tube(s?).

Nope. They both just use the same transformer. No biggie.

I think the amp in the photo with the Mesa 2x12 is an Ampeg PF-350 (which is pretty small).

Just thought I'd share my custom Mesa 2x10 and 1x15 half stack.

My friend made the cabs for me, and I bought the speaker separates.

Ran me about 650$ total.
