12 or 15?
Twelve. This is only the third combo I have ever owned. My first was a B15N, my second a B100R. This is the best so far IMO. I even like the smell of it better.

I'm starting to think this is the case too. .
Not trying to be trite, but there's not much debate here; the physics is clear and an A/B comparison proves it easily. That's why I groan when I hear about Mesa sales staff propagating popular misconceptions.
That's not a 4 ohm vs. 8 ohm thing. If you need more, add a cab or use the head with an efficient multi-driver cab.
Yes...I understand the physics.
I understand that. If I just ignore the second half of the master, it's not a big deal. But I'd rather run two cabs at the same ohms if they are essentially the same box and driver. I don't like driving one more than the other. So for me it would have to be a 4 ohm extension cab, if I wanted a matching cab, or buy a new 8 ohm 12 to put in my existing box. If I were to do that, could I use more of the master since each 12 would get a little less power? I would think yes, but no dealers in my area to try it out.

I had a B15N for years, then gigged regularly with a B100R, and both times I thought I had a pretty damn good amp. Then I got my WAS-15 and it's the end of the road. No more looking for amps.![]()
fwiw, lomo has posted a couple of walkabouts in classifieds, both reasonably priced...
...My plan is to pick up an SWR Golight 2x10 for the redface ....
What say the TB? Thoughts on my proposed rigs?
